Truth is one of the central subjects in philosophy, It is also one of the largest. Truth has a topic of discussion in its own right for thousands of years. Moreover, a huge variety of issues in philosophy relate to truth, either by relying on theses about truth, or implying theses about truth. It would be impossible to survey all there is to say about truth in any coherent way.

Truth or verity, is the property of being in accord with fact or reality, in everyday language, it is typically ascribed to things that aim to represent reality or otherwise correspond to it, such as beliefs, propositions, and declarative. Truth is usually held to be the opposite of any false statements.

Laws are eternal, this verse affirms that God’s word, as revealed in the Scripture, is the ultimate source of truth, providing unwavering guidance in an ever-changing world; There is truth and freedom.

The bible also teaches that truth and freedom are intricately intertwined. In John 8:23, Jesus asserts, you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free. This verse reminds us that embracing truth liberates us from the shackles of falsehood, ignorance, and deception, enabling us to live authentically and experience genuine freedom. Many will tell you that there is a search for truth, but you have only to listen to the words of Jesus.

Where should we search for the truth? The bible encourages us to diligently seek truth, both in our understanding of God and in our daily lives. Proverbs 23:23 urge, buy the truth and sell it not; also wisdom, and instruction, and understanding. This verse exhorts us to value and prioritize truth, recognizing its transformative power in shaping our character and worldview.

Truth can be subjective, influenced by our individual experiences, emotions, and beliefs. It is important to recognize that personal truths exist, shaped by our unique experience that shape our perspectives. However, we must also acknowledge the existence of objective truth, which remain true regardless of our personal interpretations and experiences. objective truth is the truth that defies, time, culture, society, and opinions.

Objective truth is the truth that is binding and fixed. It applies to all people, societies, and cultures always. Examples of objective truth are: murder is morally wrong, slavery is morally wrong, lying is morally wrong, etc. Subjective truth is fine, there is room for it until it collides with Objective Truth. At this moment, subjective truth must be abandoned and bow its knee to the timelessness of objective Truth.

Ultimately, the bible calls us to embody truth in all aspect of our lives, Ephesians 4: 15 encourages us to speak the truth in love. Emphasizing the importance of combining truth with compassion and kindness.

Truth is a person: Other religions promote good works. some religions even seem to outdo Christians in how disciplined they are. What makes Christianity different or more truthful than the rest of the religions in the world? Christ alone is the difference.

We don’t follow a religious system; we follow Jesus, in other words, the truth is not merely some theory or concept. The truth is a person. While other religions reach out to God, Christianity shows the truth of God reaches out to us in Jesus. God reaches down with profound love, kindness, and grace to bring us to him.
